This variation of Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog Pose) creates a beautiful practice experience, and some people use it as an alternative to Sirsasana (Headstand). When you support the top of your head on a slanted block and your heels on a wall as shown, it sets up opposing forces that you can counterbalance to achieve steadiness and ease. Align carefully, breathe and enjoy! The video clip is from Roger Cole's weekly Iyengar yoga class, August 17, 2021.
